Constructed out of poplar boards and 1/2" ply, with a false bottom that sits on a ledge, so less fill could be used and weight reduced for performers on stage. the false bottom has handles to pop the board out for maintenance, and a foam underside (not pictured) to cushion flower stems. Holes were drilled in the false bottom for roses to stick into. hand holds were cut into the sides of the planter, and planter is filled with rubber mulch. Hlanter is painted with a wash of Rosco paints.

Roses were yellow and airbrushed with custom mixed pink acrylic paint to resemble peace roses. Rose stems were bulked up with green pipe cleaners and floral tape.
